You should always meet with your photographer ahead of time to discuss not only your vision and what you want from your album photo shoot, but you should also do some test shots too! This will give your photographer a chance to communicate some modeling tips that will help bring out the best of you for the cover art. It will also help you feel less camera shy as well. Also bring extra lighting even if your photographer has some!! Trust me... it's important. hahaha
